Ormond Beach Holiday Season 2026: Parade, Tree Lighting, and Santa

Ormond Beach's holiday calendar fills up fast once December arrives, and it starts even earlier than the calendar says. Here is the verified rundown of the 2026 holiday season, from the Home for the Holidays parade and tree lighting to Holidays at The Casements and Breakfast with Santa, refreshed October 21, 2026.

Home for the Holidays Nighttime Parade and Tree Lighting

The 35th annual Home for the Holidays Nighttime Parade and Tree Lighting takes place Saturday, December 12 at 6 p.m. at City Hall Plaza. The 2026 theme, "Stars, Stripes & Holiday Lights," honors America's 250th birthday, and the evening features a nighttime parade with floats and live music, the community tree lighting, and a visit from Santa. It is the anchor event of the Ormond Beach holiday season and draws families from across the area.

Letters to Santa

The city collects letters to Santa from November 25 through December 16, a free, low-key tradition that families in Tomoka Oaks can drop into during any trip to the beachside or downtown.

Holidays at The Casements

On Thursday, December 17 at 6 p.m., Holidays at The Casements brings holiday activities to the historic former winter home of John D. Rockefeller at 25 Riverside Dr, a few steps from the riverfront. It is one of the more atmospheric stops on the calendar, with the building dressed for the season beside Rockefeller Gardens.

Breakfast with Santa

Breakfast with Santa returns Saturday, December 19 at 8 a.m., with advance reservations required. It is a favorite for families with young children, so book early once registration opens.

Small Business Saturday and the farmers market

Before the December events, Small Business Saturday lands on Saturday, November 28 in downtown Historic Ormond Beach, a chance to shop local shops on Granada Boulevard and the beachside. The Ormond Beach Farmers Market also runs every Thursday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at City Hall Plaza, an easy stop for holiday host gifts through the season.

Why the holiday season matters when you choose a home

A neighborhood's holiday calendar says a lot about its day-to-day life. Ormond Beach wraps its December around a parade, a riverfront garden, and a historic house, the kinds of traditions families remember. For buyers, that also means holiday entertaining: a home like 101 N Saint Andrews Dr, with its open plan, two-island kitchen, curved wet bar, and screened pool that works year-round in coastal Florida, is built for exactly those gatherings, while the 22kW whole-home generator means the lights stay on through any winter storm. For the latest times and tickets, confirm each event on the city of Ormond Beach community events calendar and the Ormond Beach MainStreet site before you head out.
